Born in Istanbul in 1976, Dr. Banu Göker Özdemir completed her primary education in Istanbul. She then attended FMV Özel Işık High School for her secondary and high school education.
She completed her medical education at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English Medicine Department) in 2000 and continued her career at Private Şişli Memorial Hospital between 2006 and 2018.
Dr. Banu Göker has been practicing her profession with the same passion in her private clinic since 2018.
Throughout her 25-year medical career, she has followed-up thousands of pregnancies and deliveries, performed gynecological surgeries, and carried out laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures.
Her areas of expertise include menopause, hormone therapy, polycystic ovary syndrome, hormonal disorders, early menopause, diminished ovarian reserve, and the management of chronic diseases. She has provided follow-up and treatment for numerous patients in these fields.
Her passion for natural beauty and aesthetics, combined with her years of surgical experience and expertise in female anatomy, has led her to focus intensively on genital aesthetics, vaginal anti-aging, and vaginal rejuvenation.
Witnessing the miracles within the balance of life itself has deepened her interest in maintaining the mental, emotional, and physical harmony of the human body before diseases develop. Over time, she has directed her research towards integrative and functional medicine, blending these insights with her medical knowledge to enhance her clinical practices.
Beyond her dedication to medicine, Dr. Banu Göker Özdemir enjoys playing the piano, skiing, and hiking in nature. Reading and sharing her insights from books is another great passion of hers. In addition to her husband, two children, two cats, and a dog, the miracle of childbirth she has witnessed over the years has gifted her with many more loving families.
